The money Saraya had to pay was donated to charity.

In mid-March, AEW’s Saraya took to Twitter and confirmed that she was fined by the company for saying ‘twat’ on television.

She expanded on that while speaking to Josh Martinez on episode #22 of Superstar Crossover. AEW Dynamite emanated from Long Island, New York on 4/5 and Saraya was in-studio for the interview.

Saraya stated that once she got to the backstage area after saying ‘twat’, she took off and started getting texts from Toni Storm, Ruby Soho, Pat Buck and AEW legal. It was highlighted to her that her wrongdoings were saying ‘twat’, body shaming and flipping people off.

She was told it is not a big issue from AEW’s side but the network might not be too pleased. Saraya added that in her defense, there were a list of banned curse words provided to her but ‘twat’ was not on that list. It was relayed to her that they felt they did not need to put that word on the list.

We’re gonna talk about that (AEW fine). Because that’s like a thing. They fine you but then they give the money to charity so I’m cussing for a cause. It’s for the animals, it’s for the people. I am for the people.

I can’t remember (if that was my first fine). Actually, I think it was. I think this is the first time I’ve really cussed on TV. You know what’s really crazy is that even ‘twat’ is a very British thing to say… I’m not trying to drop the C-bomb but twat is a very common word in the U.K. but it’s not part of my vocabulary so I don’t even know why I said it. I could say any other word but I chose twat in the spare of the moment and it fit. But they also told me that like, ‘Listen Saraya –’ I did a runner after the show by the way. After I cussed, I was like, I’m out. So they have to chase me down for this fine. So I’m getting texts from Toni Storm, Ruby (Soho), Pat Buck, I’m getting texts from the lawyers and stuff and they were just like, ‘We have to call you. You have to stop running away’ so I’m like, ‘I’m already gone. Catch me if you can.’ But yeah, they called me and they were so sweet about it but they were like, ‘Okay, there’s three things you did wrong here’ and I was like, ‘What are those?’ He was like, ‘Well, when you walked down the ramp, you flipped everybody off, right? That’s a no’ and I was like, ‘Okay.’ ‘Second thing, you body shamed everybody. That’s also a no’ and I’m like, ‘Alright’ and then he’s like, ‘And then you called everyone neckbearded twats and that’s also not okay’ and they were like, ‘Not from our side but the network is gonna be a little upset if you keep doing those things…’ He was like, ‘Just try not to body shame people.’ I was like, ‘Well, they do it to me all the time so, suck it,’ right? But to be fair to me, they did send out a list of cusswords you cannot say and twat wasn’t on it and they’re like, ‘We didn’t think we had to put it on there’ and I’m like, ‘But from a British standpoint, you have to always put it on there.’

On AEW television, Saraya is paired with Ruby Soho and Toni Storm and together, they are known as The Outcasts.

When it was Saraya versus Ruby versus AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter at Revolution, Saraya said there were hints of herself, Soho and Storm aligning that was shown through their attire and makeup.

I just wanna say for everyone, when it comes to the Triple Threat (at AEW Revolution), we tried to give these little, tiny, subtle hints when we were going in there so, Toni (Storm) had the glittery lipstick, like the glitter lipstick and Ruby (Soho) had the red glitter eyeshadow to match it and then I wore black and green to match Ruby’s hair which was green too and then she wore the plaid shirt which I always wear the plaid shirt so we tried to throw in little ideas or little hints there. People didn’t get it until afterwards. They’re like, ‘Oh! You son of a b*tch. Now I see it…’ We eventually all just wanted to come together so we just tried to do that kind of.

The Outcasts did not get involved in Jamie Hayter and Riho’s championship match on Dynamite. They’ve been targeting Hayter, Britt Baker and Riho.
