Before their conversation with Paul Levesque, Scarlett Bordeaux and Killer Kross viewed AEW as a landing spot.

Since being released from WWE, Scarlett Bordeaux has been announced for a multitude of shows, signings and appearances. Killer Kross was released from the company along with Scarlett and his 90-day non-compete expires in February.

In February of 2020, Killer Kross’ WWE signing was formally announced and he and Scarlett were presented on-screen together from the start. Scarlett was the focus of a recent virtual signing with ‘Signed By Superstars’ and she shared that prior to WWE coming into the fold, she and Kross thought they were going to land in AEW.

There were a few companies we were talking to right before WWE came along. We thought AEW was gonna be the one. But after a talk with Hunter, we’re like, ‘Nope. WWE’s the place.’

Bordeaux was asked if she would return to NXT. She said she would within a six month window because she is enjoying being a free agent and the opportunities that have come her way since departing WWE.

Um, I would return to NXT after six months because I’m having way too much fun right now and we have a lot of cool things happening and there’s so many fun, cool things happening that if I was told tomorrow, I have to go back and I had to cancel everything, I’d be like, ‘Eh, I wanna do all the things I have planned’ because I’m excited about it.

Killer Kross and Scarlett were two of 26 talents that were released from WWE during the month of November. Both Kross and Scarlett have received movie role offers since their exits.
