Sean “X-Pac” Waltman shared the sad news on Thursday that his beloved dog Lula has passed away.

Waltman was rarely seen in public without Lula, who became a registered emotional support animal.

She was a cult favorite with fans, who witnessed her appear on television with her famous owner many times. She even had her own Instagram account.

The WWE Hall of Famer posted the news on Twitter on Thursday evening.

My beautiful Baby Lula is gone.💔
I'm devastated. I'm going to miss her so much. She was my life. You can see some of our journey together at @itsbabylula on IG. #RIPLula

Waltman had previously posted on Tuesday that Lula was “not doing well”.

He credited Lula with helping him recover from his addiction and mental health issues, even calling her “the best thing” for him.

Waltman found Lula on the street himself. She had suffered terrible abuse, was blind in one eye, had no teeth, and had a badly broken lower jaw.

On a May 2017 episode of The Tomorrow Show, Waltman was asked for Lula’s backstory. He said:

Last Thursday, we were coming back from Home Depot and poor little Lula just wandered out into Balboa Avenue and almost got hit, and she was just wandering around delirious.

Her jaw is broken. She’ll never be able to close her mouth again, and her tongue was just completely caked with stuff. You could tell she hadn’t had any water in who knows how long. She was just, she was so scared.

I haven’t cried that hard in a long, long time. She’s happy now, and that’s all that counts.

Explaining that she had been exploited to produce puppies, he added:

They kept her in the backyard and kept her pumping out puppies. She has a C-section scar and everything. So when she couldn’t have any more puppies, I’m sure, boom — kicked her out.

Many figures from the wrestling world and beyond have extended their condolences in replies to Sean Waltman’s tweet.
