Benjamin’s run with WWE comes to an end.

A number of talents such as Mustafa Ali, Aliyah, Top Dolla of Hit Row and Elias among others have been released from WWE.

Shelton Benjamin has publicly shared that he’s been released from the company as well. Benjamin thanked WWE’s staff, talents and fans in his tweet.

I have been released from my wwe contract. I thank @wwe staff , talent, and of course the fans for Everything. Something ends, something new Begins. Looking forward to my next Chapter

Benjamin came back to WWE in 2017. His most recent match was on the 9/11 Main Event taping before Raw went on the air.

According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Dolph Ziggler has been released from WWE. Ziggler being released ends his near-20 year run with the company. Ziggler’s brother, Ryan Nemeth, shared images on social media of him and Ziggler holding AEW championships.

Wow. A lifer if there ever was once. If he chooses to make it so, this could be the best thing to ever happen to Ziggler.

He’s 43…has he left it a little late?

Ziggler has way too much WWE stench on him, is too old and has made too much money to seriously pursue wrestling full time IMO

If motivated, I think he’s got a good run left in him, perhaps to prove he’s more than what he was allowed to be.

That said… completely fair if he decides to enjoy his money, retire from wrestling, and pursue other endeavors.

I think he’s the perfect candidate for AEW. Great in-ring, his brother is already there, and Tony loves to use underutilized WWE guys. I truly think he would thrive. Not saying put the world title on him, but stick him in a tag team with his brother, and I think its the perfect role for him.
