John Siino reviews this week’s editions of AEW Dark, AEW Dark: Elevation, NXT UK, IMPACT Wrestling, 205 Live, NJPW Strong, NWA Powerrr, Ring of Honor, and Main Event in under 15 minutes on Shot In The Dark.
This week on IMPACT Wrestling, it is a special Thanksgiving episode with Wrestle House 2 which revolves around the idea of them attempting to make Johnny Swinger happy by pairing him up with one of the Swingerellas for a show-closing wedding, but Hernandez and Eddie Edwards see through Rosemary’s true motives as John E. Bravo’s soul is put in jeopardy while Chris Sabin walks around the house shirtless and in slow motion, causing quite a stir.
AEW Dark has the debut of the mysterious masked Infinito who is introduced ‘from the Infinite universe, the beginning and end of time and weighing more than you can possibly imagine’. We also see the debut of La Rosa Negra, Ethan Page vs. Fuego Del Sol and Adam Cole debuts on Dark, taking on Anthony Greene in the main event.
On NJPW Strong, a new Black Tiger debuts attacking Rocky Romero, Jonathan Gresham makes his Strong debut taking on Alex Coughlin and is met with a returning Gabriel Kidd who challenges him, and Jon Moxley & Eddie Kingston take on Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer in a rematch, this time in a Philadelphia Street Fight.
Also, The Dark Order & The Varsity Blonds take on The Acclaimed & Chaos Project on AEW Dark: Elevation, Noam Dar defends the Heritage Cup against Sam Gradwell on NXT UK, Elektra Lopez and Solo Sikoa debut on 205 Live, we have a Ten Pounds of Gold special of NWA Powerrr, we see potentially Jay Lethal’s final match on ROH, Los Lotharios vs. The Viking Raiders on Main Event, and more!
Plus, Siino previews this weekend’s NWA Hard Times 2 pay-per-view.
