SmackDown follows Raw with its lowest viewership of 2019

The WWE had its second straight night of disappointing viewership with SmackDown posting its lowest number since going live in 2016.

Tuesday’s episode from Columbus, Ohio averaged 1,833,000 viewers on the USA Network.

Since SmackDown went live on Tuesday nights in 2016, their previous low came on February 5th this year with 1.841 million viewers against the State of the Union with President Donald Trump.

Tuesday’s episode went against the Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics playoff game that did 4.404 million viewers on TNT and the Boston Bruins vs. Columbus Blue Jackets game that averaged 1.664 million viewers on the NBC Sports Network.

SmackDown was down 11.5% from last week’s viewership and down 25% from this week in 2018.

Miz & Mrs. fell 11% with 840,000 viewers watching Tuesday’s episode and was their lowest number since returning last month.

So much for the so called better show.

Also…have Mandy Rose win the MITB contract, successfully cash in and her and Sonya have a live sex celebration on the next SmackDown…guaranteed that stunt would get them a 5 share.

The second suggestion would probably work. The first one is unlikely to work. Reigns isn’t a big enough deal to draw new fans in or bring back fans that have left.
