Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live did not reflect the upswing in viewership the WWE has experienced throughout WrestleMania season, posting it’s second lowest number of 2018 for the “go home” show.

Tuesday’s show averaged 2,467,000 viewers on the USA Network, which was down 4.2% from last week and promoted around Shane McMahon’s return to television and confirming his partnership with Daniel Bryan for the tag match at WrestleMania.

The only episode from 2018 to post a lower total was the February 13th show, which had heavy competition from the Winter Olympics.

After hitting their highest number in a year with the announcement of Daniel Bryan’s clearance, the following two episodes of SmackDown have seen weekly drops, which has only coincided with the enormous viewership for “Roseanne”.

This week’s episode of the popular ABC sitcom averaged 15,391,000 viewers, while SmackDown Live was the fourth highest cable program on Tuesday.

And people want AJ/Nakamura to mainevent mania over Reigns/Brock…can’t even get people to watch them on Smackdown and Raws third hour kept Raw strong.
