On Friday Night SmackDown, several additional matches were made official for WrestleMania 36 next weekend.

While WrestleMania was taped this past week, the complete lineup has not been announced in full along with several changes that we have written about over the past 24 hours.

On SmackDown, Drew Gulak defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a quick match to set up Daniel Bryan challenging Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental title at WrestleMania. We were told that Cesaro was present in Zayn’s corner for the title match when it was taped.

Later in the show, Bray Wyatt challenged John Cena to a ‘Firefly Fun House Match’ at WrestleMania but didn’t explain what that match entails. John Cena will respond to the challenge next week.

In a backstage segment, Dolph Ziggler challenged Otis to a match at WrestleMania, which Otis accepted. It was said by Ziggler that Mandy Rose would be in his corner.

Alexa Bliss defeated Asuka on the show, which continues to set up the WWE women’s tag title match between Asuka & Kairi Sane against Bliss & Nikki Cross but the match hasn’t officially been announced on television.

The major changes were not addressed on SmackDown with the company still promoting the Bill Goldberg vs. Roman Reigns match, even though Reigns will not be part of WrestleMania.

The show-closing segment saw The Miz & John Morrison attack the New Day and The Usos in the middle of their match causing a no contest. It was announced by Michael Cole that the three teams would meet in a triple threat ladder match at WrestleMania for the tag titles. However, The Miz is out of WrestleMania and the latest update from Dave Meltzer at the Wrestling Observer is that John Morrison will take on a member of The Usos in a ladder match.

The fact they are not addressing what is obviously circulating in terms of who’s in and who is out is actually making me HATE this WrestleMania more than just simply looking forward to having something to watch.

This is classic insulting the fans. We know! You don’t have to act like business as usual, WWE

They are trying really hard to run for every single position in top ten of “Disgusting Promotional Tactics Award” chart this year.
