Several weeks ago, Carmella made her return to the SmackDown brand and on her first night, she ambushed the current SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks. In the weeks following, Carmella would continue to attack Banks from behind and during the 12/4 episode of SmackDown on FOX, Banks and Carmella had a sit-down segment during which they addressed one another.
At the conclusion of the segment, Banks offered Carmella a shot at the SmackDown Women’s Championship at the TLC pay-per-view on 12/20.

If Carmella is not in action before TLC, it will be her first on-screen match since the Money In The Bank pay-per-view in May.
Banks captured the SmackDown Women’s Title at the Hell In A Cell pay-per-view and successfully defended the title against Bayley on SmackDown. She picked up a win over RAW Women’s Champion Asuka at Survivor Series and is now set to defend her title at TLC against Carmella. Here’s the updated TLC lineup:
