On Friday Night SmackDown, the women’s title match for Super ShowDown was made official following a number one contender’s match.

In the final match of the episode, Naomi pinned Carmella after hitting the split-legged moonsault and will challenge Bayley for the SmackDown women’s title.

The two will meet next Thursday at Super ShowDown from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is the second women’s match to take place in the country since WWE entered a ten-year deal with the General Sports Authority of Saudi Arabia in early 2018.

The first three events under the deal were notably exempt from including any women’s matches, which drew lots of criticism given how much emphasis the company has placed upon its women’s division and accusing the company of hypocrisy for pushing their women’s revolution and yet entering a deal where women talent were excluded from the early shows.

The policy changed on their last event in October where Natalya and Lacey Evans were brought to the country and had a match that was heavily promoted by WWE coming out of the event.

Here is the updated card for Super ShowDown:
*The Fiend Bray Wyatt vs. Bill Goldberg for the Universal title
*Brock Lesnar vs. Ricochet for the WWE title
*Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin in a Steel Cage match
*New Day vs. John Morrison & The Miz for the SmackDown tag titles
*AJ Styles vs. Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Erick Rowan vs. R-Truth in a Gauntlet Match for the Tuwaiq Trophy
*Seth Rollins & Murphy vs. The Street Profits for the Raw tag titles
*Bayley vs. Naomi for the SmackDown women’s title

Mansoor has also stated he will have a match on the show but was unaware of who his opponent is.
