WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns retained his title at the TLC pay-per-view by defeating Kevin Owens via an assist from Jey Uso. Owens and Reigns are now scheduled to compete again for the Universal Title on the Christmas day episode of SmackDown inside of a Steel Cage.

During their TLC match, there were several instances when Jey Uso got involved and prevented Owens from becoming Universal Champion again. The 12/25 episode of SmackDown is being taped on 12/22 from Tropicana Field.

WWE is on the road to their 2021 Royal Rumble pay-per-view which is taking place on January 31st. To get a recap of the action that occurred at TLC, check out POST Wrestling’s review of the show.

Is it possible that they do the title change?, They can do it so it plays out that Jay Uso was unable to interfere.

That seems to be the story that Roman can’t win with Uso’s help

Booking a cage match in response to a previous match between the two competitors being disrupted by outside interference. Imagine that. A cage match that makes sense (if you gloss over the fact they have only had one other match and are hot-shotting).

They’ve always done that, @Bdubz.

Remember Eddie Guerrero and Rey Misterio?
