Sytch is dealing with a blood clot that is being described as horrible.

Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch is currently serving a 17-year prison sentence for her role in a car crash that resulted in the death of 75-year-old Julian Lasseter in 2022. It was learned that Sytch’s blood-alcohol level was at 0.08 or higher.

She was relocated to Lowell Correctional Institute in Marion County, Florida earlier this year and she began to notice something off about her left leg. Sytch told TMZ that she experienced swelling from her knee to her toes and asked for medical assistance.

Sytch said for weeks, no help was provided despite her leg looking like ‘somebody put a bicycle tire pump on it and just inflated it twice the size.’ She is diabetic. She added that her leg changed colors and there was a point when a red lump developed under her calf. Sytch relayed to the outlet that she could barely walk on it.

She eventually was able to get testing done and learned that she had a blood clot that needs thinners for treatment. Sytch said getting the medication into her body has been a chore and she’s concerned about how prison officials are going to care for her as she heals.

The former WWF/E talent stated that if things continue as they are, she’ll insist that she receive medical attention at an off-site hospital.

All that’s been going through my mind for the past three weeks is, oh my God, I’m going to follow in (my ex-husband’s) footsteps and die of a blood clot just like he did because I can’t get medical treatment at this prison. It’s pretty bad.

Sytch is scheduled to be released on January 3rd, 2040. She’ll be 67 years old.

I was under the impression Chris died from pneumonia on the autopsy and not a PE.

Nonetheless it sounds like she has either an SVT or DVT and needs treatment and glad she got it
