Originally published at Ten-man tag including Strong Openweight Champ added to 'Resurgence'
NJPW has added a ten-man tag for next weekend’s Resurgence event at The Torch at the L.A. Memorial Coliseum.
The company has assembled a multi-man tag that includes its NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Tom Lawlor and regulars from the NJPW Strong program.
Lawlor will team JR Kratos, Jorel Nelson, Royce Isaacs & Danny Limelight against Lio Rush, Brody King, Chris Dickinson, Fred Yehi & Yuya Uemura.
Uemura just had his “send-off match” last weekend as a New Japan Young Lion, losing to Kazuchika Okada.
The card will be streaming on FITE TV and New Japan World next Saturday night at 11 p.m. ET with the following card:
*IWGP United States Championship: Lance Archer (champion) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
*NEVER Openweight Championship: Jay White (champion) vs. David Finlay
*Tomohiro Ishii vs. Moose
