Dashwood looks back at her first WrestleMania.

At WWE WrestleMania 30, the show featured The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at the event coming to an end by way of Brock Lesnar. In the main event of the night, Bryan Danielson became WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

The match prior to main event and following Undertaker versus Lesnar was the Vickie Guerrero Invitational for the WWE Divas Championship. The champion A.J. Lee retained and bested Aksana, Victoria Crawford (Alicia Fox), Brie Garcia, Ariane Andrew, Tenille Dashwood, Eva Marie, Layla El, Trinity Fatu, Natalya, Nikki Garcia, Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae and Tamina.

Dashwood was the focus of a Captain’s Corner virtual signing and reflected on being in that spot of having to follow Undertaker’s streak coming to an end.

Well I actually was a part of two WrestleManias and the first one was — it was actually quite funny because it was the WrestleMania where The Undertaker, his undefeated streak was up. So, the match immediately after that was the Divas Battle Royal. That was my very first WrestleMania… It was like the most impossible spot you could possibly have on a show I think. Everyone was just absolutely devastated and then, hit the music and here come all the Divas. It just was horrible timing. But someone had to do it and we did it and that was my first of that moment so it was really special for me. My family’s watching back in Australia and everything…

Dashwood’s latest run with WWE came to an end in September 2023 as she was a part of the company’s wave of releases. She was with WWE for nearly a year before being cut.

Her last match for the company was on the 7/10 Monday Night Raw.
