THE PLEASURE WAS ALL YOURS

  • Jesse Ventura is coming back. He’s been given a clean bill of health and is determined to have one last run: “on his terms.” Rumour has it that he’s signed a 1 year deal but sceptics are wondering if his signing is more Bob Backlund or Honky Tonk Man than it is Eddie Gilbert.

A DREAM IS A WISH YOUR HEART MAKES

  • It’s no more hard times in WCW as the son of a plumber, Dusty Rhodes is back for ‘one last run’. We’re not sure when he’ll make his official debut but he says he wants to be where the big boys play. He didn’t make any mention of adjectives.
  • Eddie Gilbert has retired from professional wrestling once more. He had a successful run in the WWF, capturing the Intercontinental Championship and leaves again a much bigger star than he had been before this run
  • Paul Roma has also decided to call it a career. He feels he’s still among the best in WCW (just ask him) but feels that politics has held him down for too long.

One of my favorite events was World War 3. Should be interesting who wins this one. How is this gonna work? It isnt an actual match option, is it?

Suspend one’s disbelief - it’s definitely not just a 30 man Rumble

I think you mean 128 days.

I really don’t. He re-won the title at Survivor Series. There may be typos elsewhere but this isn’t one of them.

Ah okay. There was a typo on the World War 3 post then that said he was at 91 days. When he was actually a brand new champion in November.

My all time favorite PPV is Starrcade 1995, for the the stuff with New Japan and Flair winning the title. I dont think it would be my favorite if this were the event.

I do like some of the matches though. Hogan and Koloff is intriguing and I like the Road Warriors vs Harlem Heat.

Yeah. I thought about going the NJPW route but I’m pretty much at the wrestler limit. I really wanted to find a spot for Flair but the Dusty-Zbyszko thing was too good to pass up and my hands were tied by the Johnny B. Badd triple battle royal win.
