Are we just ignoring this story and hoping it’s not real? I know speaking badly about Unders is seen as blasphemy by some on here, but he’s the Deadman is backing the Orangeman!

When you listen to videos with the Undertaker you get that he is not the brightest walking around on our blue planet. It fits him.

The big Texan biker is a Republican. I don’t really care, I was holding out hope that he wasn’t this far gone toward Trump town.
Honestly, the most entertainment I’ve gotten out of it is Twitter clowns retconning their “Taker was never really that good” takes because they don’t like his politics.

Remember wrestlers make a lot of money. Most people with money hate paying taxes. It’s usually not more complicated then that for a lot of them
Pretty much this. They are republicans. They will vote for Trump. Undertakers political affiliations have been known for years.
Glen Jacob’s actually being a right-wing Trumpian mayor is actually more disgusting as his influence over local policy actually does damage to his community.
Considering how wild the election has already been and 2020 was im trying to just keep cool. Lots of people will vote for Trump. It doesn’t make them all evil.

This is exactly how I feel. I’m Canadian, and I am a liberal, and while the majority of people in my life vote liberal or NDP, there are some that vote conservative and I have no issue with that. Would I prefer they didn’t? Sure, but I won’t let politics effect the way I think of someone unless they are to the extreme.

Yeah, I think the issue here is how outspoken these people are in terms of trying to convince you of their views.
Like it’s one thing if you just happen to vote for Trump, even though you are a wrestler. I’m sure most people wouldn’t really have a big issue with that.
But when you’re out there essentially lobbying for him and putting out ongoing messages or trying to promote it, then I can see how that rubs people the wrong way

I don’t think Taker and Kane are the only ones on the Internet spreading their political agenda here.

So we’re giving him a pass then? Whew….Unders is one of my favorite wrestlers. I didn’t want to have to hate him to be in the group.
I don’t think it’s a pass. Put him on Raw endorsing Trump or something like that and I think it may be a different situation to a lot of people. Right now, he’s just a retired guy on social media.
You can do whatever you want. There is not a collective group of wrestling fans who get together to “cancel” somebody. Not on this message board anyway. In actuality you would never get a group of wrestling fans to agree on anything.
What I choose to do is live in the real world. The world is complicated and grey and filled with people of all different life experiences that impact their political beliefs. Not to mention you can also choose to separate the art from the artist. Or don’t. It’s entirely up to you.
Mark Calloway endorsed Trump. Oh well. Disappointing but not surprising. It doesn’t change how I feel about the Undertaker character at all.

When I was going through medical school, most of the people were liberal NDP I went to school with.
Big surprise that many years later when most of them are staff physician a lot of them, I would say the vast majority, have switched to being conservative. Now, if you don’t think that has to do with the bump in salary, I don’t know what to say – it’s no different from wrestlers. In general, they’re gonna pick the candidate the taxes them the least.
Should it change your opinion of the person? That sort of up to you to decide. There’s a big difference between being friends with somebody versus watching them on TV. I’m sure you don’t get the political affiliations of every pro athlete or television star you watch.

Shouldn’t surprise anyone. CTE leads people to make irrational decisions. All he cares about is paying less taxes and Trump will do that for him at the expense of everyone else.

Taker is also a born again Christian. There’s other issues related to that that will make you lean Republican, especially if you lack critical thinking skills.
It’s true, I have worked with many doctors in my career, and the majority of them are conservatives, and I’m pretty sure it’s because they feel they are overtaxed.
A lot of these performers are very high earners in terms of salary, and I would bet that if you did a secret ballot of all the top talent in the wrestling business and asked them if they were democrats or republicans, the results would very much skew on the side of republican.
