To kick off AEW’s Beach Break event, a tag team Battle Royal was held to determine the next challengers to the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Revolution on March 7th. The current champions Matt and Nick Jackson were in the Battle Royal and if they won, they would get to select their opponents for Revolution.

Matt and Nick were eliminated from the bout but standing tall in the ring at the conclusion of the match was the duo of Chris Jericho and MJF. They’ll be challenging The Young Bucks for the tag titles at the Revolution pay-per-view and it’s the first match made official for the show.

I really enjoyed that battle Royale. I think mjf takes over inner circle and Jericho and Sammy Go face soon.

It’s tough to predict who will turn face. Wardlow has so much potential, Sammy could be a natural face…Santana & Ortiz are so underutilized, I can see them turning…
