Three tag matches added to NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 16 night two pre-show

Matches announced for the night two pre-show.

Night one of New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s Wrestle Kingdom 16 has concluded and night two is scheduled to take place on January 5th. The main card for night two is filled out but NJPW added three bouts to the pre-show, one of which features former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Shingo Takagi.

Takagi lost the title to Kazuchika Okada on night one and he’ll be teaming with BUSHI and Hiromu Takahashi to take on Douki and the former IWGP Tag Team Champions Zack Sabre Jr. and Taichi.

  • Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Master Wato & Satoshi Kojima vs. El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru & Master Wato

The two multi-mans in last night’s show really dragged things down - really don’t see the point in these new matches…apart from ensuring folks who only bought tickets for the second night get to catch a couple of minutes of Shingo? Surely if Cima’s around he could have let T-Hawk and Lindaman play hooky from GLEAT and get in on one of these.
