Originally published at Tommaso Ciampa vs. Timothy Thatcher set for NXT TakeOver: WarGames
December 6th is the day that’ll host NXT TakeOver: WarGames on the WWE Network and the match card for the event has been rounded out with the addition of Tommaso Ciampa versus Timothy Thatcher. Ciampa has been attempting to confront Thatcher over the past several weeks but Thatcher has told Ciampa on several occasions that he had no issue with him.
During the 12/2 episode of NXT on the USA Network, Thatcher held his “wrestling training” segment and Ciampa appeared during it to confront him once again. Later during the show, Thatcher was interviewed and said tonight was about a distraction but at TakeOver, it’ll be about respect when he faces Ciampa.

- WarGames Match: Undisputed ERA (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong) vs. Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch
- WarGames Match: Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Raquel Gonzalez & Toni Storm vs. Shotzi Blackheart, Ember Moon, Rhea Ripley & Io Shirai
- NXT North American Championship: Leon Ruff (c) vs. Damian Priest vs. Johnny Gargano
- Strap Match: Dexter Lumis vs. Cameron Grimes
