Tommaso Ciampa is back on top of the mountain in NXT.

A new NXT Champion had to be crowned crowned because former champion Samoa Joe had to relinquish the title due to injury.

For the second time in his career, Tommaso Ciampa is NXT Champion and he pinned L.A. Knight in a four-way match to capture the title.

Originally, the four-way was supposed to include Ciampa, Pete Dunne, Knight and Kyle O’Reilly. O’Reilly was ambushed earlier in the show by Dunne and Ridge Holland which opened up a spot for Von Wager (Cal Bloom). Wagner and Knight had several back and forth exchanges then Ciampa made his way into the ring and hit the ‘Fairytale Ending’ on Knight for the victory.
