Those recording tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite might want to make sure their DVR keeps running past the program’s allotted two-hour timeslot.

AEW’s Tony Khan announced on Wednesday afternoon that the upcoming episode of Dynamite will have a “significant” overrun, pushing it past the 10 p.m. ET time that it is usually expected to conclude at.

With so much exciting action set for this evening's Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite, our amazing partners at @TBSNetwork have given us a significant overrun for tonight's show!

Thank you all watching @AEW on TBS
live at 8pm ET/7pm CT tonight! You won't want to miss AEW tonight!

Tonight’s episode of Dynamite could use the overrun it was granted. With five different matches and many segments expected for the evening, tonight’s episode will likely be a sprint from start to finish. Here’s an updated look at the card:

  • Swerve Strickland vs. Brian Cage (AEW World Championship Title Eliminator)
  • Jon Moxley & Bryan Danielson vs. Kyle Fletcher & Jeff Cobb
  • Kazuchika Okada vs. Dax Harwood (AEW Continental Championship)
  • Matthew & Nicholas Jackson vs. Matt Sydal & Christopher Daniels (AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator)
  • Toni Storm vs. Harley Cameron
  • Willow Nightingale and Mercedes Mone contract signing
  • Roderick Strong and Will Ospreay face-to-face
  • Hook returns
  • Adam Copeland calls out Malakai Black for AEW Double or Nothing

This just screams testing the water for a 3 hour Dynamite. Please please please Tony, don’t do it. This was one of the things I loved about AEW when they first started, the only commitment needed was 2 hours a week.
