Trey Miguel: I'm lobbying as hard as I can to get Myron Reed into IMPACT Wrestling

Miguel is open to defending the X Division Title against any member of The Rascalz.

The Rascalz consists of IMPACT Wrestling X Division Champion Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz, Myron Reed and NXT North American Champion Wes Lee.

Lee is currently signed to WWE and while he’s been with the company, Miguel, Reed and Wentz have been doing trios or traditional tags with each other on the independent scene.

On episode #296 of Straight Talk Wrestling, Miguel shared that he’s lobbying hard for Myron to get into IMPACT Wrestling. He added that he’d defend the X Division Title against Myron and Wentz and would put the title on the line against Wes Lee as well if he was a free agent.

I’ve sent the texts, I’ve sent the videos, I’ve gotten my replies, it’s just a matter of time (before Myron Reed is in IMPACT Wrestling). I don’t know if it’s a matter of if or a matter of when but, I am lobbying as hard as I can and when you’re a Rascal that does rascally things like I do, you’re kind of low on the pecking order of getting favors, you know what I mean? I like to f*ck around dude. I don’t know (Miguel laughed).

1,000 percent, I would (defend my X Division Championship against Myron Reed). I’d give him a match, I’d give Zach (Wentz) a match. If Wes Lee were a free agent tomorrow, he could get a match. Anybody could get it.

As a result of Josh Alexander undergoing surgery, a new IMPACT World Champion is going to be crowned at the Rebellion pay-per-view in April.

Miguel has the option of getting an IMPACT World Title shot by using Option C and trading in the X Division Title. He never wants to use Option C and does not want the X Division Title to look like a stepping stone. Miguel said he’d like to hold both titles at the same time.

This wasn’t tied to it but most people do tie it to it is that Option C deal. I never wanna do Option C. This X Division Championship is worth way more than being a stepping stone. I wanna be the first IMPACT wrestler, first IMPACT superstar, first IMPACT Champion to (be) the X Division and World champ at the same time. F*ck Option C. I want both of them.

At IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United, Miguel successfully defended the X Division Championship in a Six Way Scramble match.
