In the main event of the 9/28 IMPACT Wrestling on AXS, IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Trinity Fatu went one-on-one with Gisele Shaw.
Jai Vidal, who was cornering Gisele, accidentally tripped her up and Trinity then put her in a submission for the win. Post-match, Vidal and Savannah Evans went after Trinity but making the save was Mickie James.
After James and Trinity cleared the ring, James grabbed a microphone and issued the challenge to Trinity for a Knockouts World Championship match at Bound For Glory and the champion accepted.
