There are two matches confirmed for next week’s Friday Night SmackDown on the eve of the Royal Rumble.
On Friday’s episode, Adam Pearce announced that Naomi will get her match with Sonya Deville on next week’s episode.
This decision was made after Deville took over the duties as referee for the match between Charlotte Flair and Naomi and called for the bell before Naomi submitted to the figure-four.
There will also be a reunion of Big E. & Kofi Kingston as they take on Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss.
Big E. appeared in Kingston’s corner on Friday night as a rare appearance for the Raw star on the opposing show. Kingston defeated Moss with the New Day members attacking Moss after the match including being hit with the Big Ending.
Next week’s episode of SmackDown takes place from the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
