Weidman vs Souza feels like the main event to me. I wanted this fight so bad after merged with the UFC. I agree with John that Jacare would of taken it 4 years ago. I feel like Jacare was the best middleweight in the world for a time. Still the stakes are high even in 2018. Both men need a win here to remain a contender in the division. I feel like Jacare takes it, but I can be very wrong. He’s looked slow in his last couple fights, while despite losing 3 of his last 4, Weidman has still looked good and competitive despite some brutal finishes.
