The United Wrestling Network kicked off the first edition of their weekly Prime Time Live pay-per-views in September. That first show was headlined by Nick Aldis defending the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship against Mike Bennett. Fast forward to present day, on tonight’s Prime Time Live PPV, UWN President Dave Marquez stated that the Prime Time Live specials are now suspended until 2021.
Marquez added that the program is taking a break for the holidays as the COVID cases continue to rise in America. UWN produces their show in California at Thunder Studios. Marquez said that they want to present the best product possible and do not want to continue switching lineups at the last minute due to COVID.

The tournament finals to crown a new UWN World Champion was supposed to take place last week as Mike Bennett and Chris Dickinson were going to compete for the gold. Marquez said that match will be happening 2021.
Matches for NWA’s new Shockwave series on YouTube were taped at Thunder Studios by the United Wrestling Network team. Over the months, the likes of Lio Rush, Eli Drake, Thunder Rosa, Serena Deeb, Priscilla Kelly, Chris Masters, Elijah Burke and more names have competed on Prime Time Live.
