It’s too bad the show is almost over, would have love to hear you guys talk GoT more.

Food episode, in response to the idea that once you get to the big things it was going to feel rushed…I’m not sure I agree. Sure you aren’t going to have big battles take super long, but I was thinking more about the space between the battles. Based on how much time it takes to travel they could have spent more time building Danh having resentment for everyone celebrating the Starks, more time on Jon revealing his lineage, Varys plotting etc.

Interestingly, HBO was down for a 10 episode season, but D&D wanted just the six. Even though I’m not a fan of some of the choices they’ve made regardless, everything could feel much more natural if they had some more time to work with. Especially Daenerys going mad, because there have always been signs that she could go down that path, but it feels like 4 episodes isn’t enough time to push her from “I did not come here to be Queen of the Ashes” to “lol I’m going to brutally
murder all of these innocent children and townsfolk”.
