The closing segment of the 12/15 edition of IMPACT Wrestling on AXS featured the announcement that at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view on 1/16, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega will reunite with the IMPACT Tag Team Champions Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows to face IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann and Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin).

With the build to this segment throughout the night, the viewership for the show was down from last week’s program. According to Showbuzz Daily, IMPACT drew 177,000 viewers on AXS TV. The show did a 0.04 in the 18-49 demographic and ranked in at #143 on the top 150 shows on cable television for the night. Last week, the show brought in 221,000 viewers on AXS and did an 0.08 in the 18-49 demo.

On the YouTube front, the highest viewed video coming from IMPACT’s YouTube channel is the Omega and Good Brothers reunion which has over 233,000 views.

The show also featured the continuation of the Knockouts Tag Team Title tournament. Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz will meet the winner of Jordynne Grace and Jazz versus Nevaeh and Havok at Hard To Kill.

There is a review up of last night’s IMPACT which can be heard at this link.

They put up the footage instantly. I for one skipped watching live but by 10:30 saw everything.

These might be decent numbers for Impact (no idea if it actually is or not) but I’d have thought more AEW viewers would actually tune in to see what Omega is doing on there seeing as it is majorly relevant to AEW. Is the channel not available to most people?

I can’t watch any wrestling live. WWE, NXT, AEW etc, I find watching any of it live just makes the show drag on.
