The egg drew.

WWE Raw hit a seven-week high for its show from Brooklyn following the Survivor Series with a show built around a search for Vince McMahon’s stolen egg.

The combination of McMahon’s return to television, coming off the Survivor Series, and advertising both rosters being in attendance led to Raw averaging 1,699,000 viewers and approximately 640,000 (0.49) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

The figures were Raw’s best since October 4th, which was the night of the WWE Draft and an improvement of 7 percent in overall views and 18 percent in the 18-49 demo from last week.

Raw finished sixth for the night among cable originals, which was led by the Monday Night Football game between the New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The NFL game averaged 10,343,000 viewers and 2.92 in 18-49 on ESPN with the Manningcast version of the game doing 1,575,000 and 0.55 on ESPN2.

Raw opened with 1,806,000 viewers and 0.50 in 18-49 for the opening hour, in hour two the show dropped to 1,734,000 viewers but grew to 0.51 in 18-49 while the third dropped to 1,557,000 and 0.47 respectively featuring the main event between Big E. and Austin Theory for the WWE Championship.

The largest increases from the prior week’s episode of Raw were seen among Females 12-34 which were up by 33 percent followed by Females 18-49 improving by 28 percent. Adults 18-34 grew by 21 percent and Males 18-49 jumped by 14 percent.

There was a sizable dropout among Adults 50+ throughout the episode dropping by 20 percent from hour one to hour three. However, Females 12-34 grew by 25 percent throughout the show.

Among the demos monitored by Showbuzz Daily, each one except for Adults 50+ either grew or stayed even throughout the first two hours of the show. The third-hour drop did occur with viewers down 14 percent throughout the show and 18-49 falling by 6 percent. However, Adults 18-34, Females 12-34, and Males 12-34 grew throughout the episode.
