Several incidents involving Big Cass (William Morrissey) led to his removal from the Rahway Rec Center on Saturday where he was scheduled to appear for WrestlePro. Voices of Wrestling were the first outlet to report the news.

PWinsider’s Mike Johnson reported that Cass had an interaction with Joey Janela that was diffused, although Cass reportedly continued to cause a scene with Janela and led to the two being placed in separate rooms.

Later in the evening, Cass began to accuse people in the locker room of stealing his belongings and confronted company owner Pat Buck, who was having his farewell match with the promotion after joining WWE as a producer.

PWinsider reported that the scene included Cass spitting in Buck’s face, who responded by punching Cass.

Cass was taken out of the building as the Rahway police station was located next door to the building and authorities were already in the building. No arrest was made but it was believed that Cass left in an ambulance, according to several reports.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful added that Janela declined to press charges.

Janela did address the story on Sunday:

Not gonna elaborate at all on this whole deal besides that it was probably the bizzare situation I’ve ever seen let alone been a part of in a wrestling locker room in 15 years, everything was cordial and friendly Friday and I hope the dude gets back on the right track…

There’s a very nice documentary on Big Cass after his WWE run on youtube. He’s notably battling depression.

Whats the title of that video? I’d fir sure watch it.

Heaven knows he’s miserable now
