WrestleMania week in Texas is set to include the annual Hall of Fame ceremony and an NXT special.
Through the Dallas Morning News, the company has announced that Dallas will host both go-home editions of WWE Raw and Friday Night SmackDown that week.
WrestleMania week will also feature the annual Hall of Fame ceremony and NXT Stand & Deliver, although dates and locations for both events have not been revealed.
Last year, the company ran two Hall of Fame specials after missing out on the 2020 edition and inducting classes for both years.
NXT staged a two-night Stand & Deliver special in 2021.
WrestleMania 38 will take place on Saturday, April 2 & Sunday, April 3 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
It will be interesting to see how they position the NXT show.
Iām sure theyāll do a decent number, based on the amount of fans coming to town for Mania. However, Iām also willing to bet that a Spring Break type show for GCWās big weekend, could draw more, depending on venue.
I feel like NXT given a strong card and a few main roster cross overs could do more than 5K or so. I donāt see them selling out an NBA arena⦠But will still have the power of Mania promoting it.
Man, that āThe Most Stupendousā branding is gonna get irritating quick, isnāt it? Sounds like the gimmick of some pretty-boy heel from the 50s: Stu āThe Most Stupendousā Cartwright or some such.
