WWE is promoting a ‘Throwback’ themed edition of Friday Night SmackDown for next week’s episode on FOX.

A short promo ran throughout Friday’s edition of SmackDown with vintage WWF clips and a voiceover by Vince McMahon.

During the show, Seth Rollins issued a challenge for Cesaro, which was accepted for next week’s episode at the ThunderDome.

It’s the first time SmackDown has presented a nostalgia version of the show. The company has presented three editions of “Old School Raw” beginning in November 2010 with subsequent themed episodes in 2013 and 2014.

If it’s the oval stage and not the SmackDown fist then they’d have under delivered. I also want a remake of the “I Want It All” or “Beautiful People” intro.

You know Teddy Long is going to be on and making a tag team match and telling someone they are going to wrestle The Undertaker.
