The next Clash at the Castle event.

As the 4/1 Monday Night Raw was on the air, it was revealed that the next Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event would be taking place on June 15th and the venue and location would be announced later.

That announcement has been made and Clash at the Castle 2024 is emanating from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.

Featured on the promotional material are Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair and Scotland’s own Drew McIntyre.

The first Clash at the Castle event took place in 2022 in Cardiff, Wales and was headlined by McIntyre challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

WWE has several upcoming Premium Live Events that are taking place outside of the U.S.A. including Backlash and Bash in Berlin.

I’m very curios how well this event will do as I see a lot of people from Scotland traveling to Germany for the UEFA Euro. Scotland is playing the opening match against Germany on Friday June 14 so directly up against SmackDown. I guess Europeans who aren’t soccer fans but wrestling fans will want to travel to Glasgow for this event but it’s an interesting choice of dates for your big Scotland show to take place.

Scotland vs Germany is one of the highest matches of all time. Don’t get the date.

I imagine this is headlined by Drew vs CM Punk

For another Drew defeat on home turf…the people I know who went last year were really put off by last years main event, I wonder if they’ll be going again. Especially when it’s a few weeks before All Out.

It’ll likely be a sell out though regardless of all this

Not with Scotland vs Germany I don’t think

I would have expected a sell out too if it wasn’t for all the other Europe shows. I don’t see many people going to the France show, the German show plus maybe AEW at Wembley and then choosing Clash at the Castle over the UEFA Euro (except if they really don’t care for soccer). If the Scotland show was the only show in Europe that year, maybe people would’ve seen it as a unique opportunity. I don’t think the show will tank by any means but competition this summer is very strong.
