Jesus, who pissed in John’s Wheaties during this show?

This wasn’t a very good show, even by WWE b-show standards. In fact most b-show ppv’s (not headlined by Baron Corbin) usually end up overdelivering on match quality regardless of the lackluster or overbooked storylines heading into the show.

Clash of Champions felt like the opposite. John was right to criticize the poor ways the matches were produced. The tag matches were all the same. Sasha/Becky and Roman/Rowan both didn’t need to go into the crowd. It should have been used just once.

It’s like the backstage agents didn’t talk to each other at all before the show. Again, it felt below WWE’s standards because they usually go to great lengths to protect big spots and make sure they aren’t repeated on a show.
