There was a tag match on the Day 1 edition of Raw that resulted in referee stoppage. Kofi Kingston and Jey Uso defeated Imperium’s Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser. Vinci attempted to springboard onto Kingston but was kicked in the face. The ringside doctor made his way into the ring to check on Vinci and the match was called off. Vinci was able to walk to the backstage area alongside the doctor. Afterwards, he tweeted out that he’s fine.
A WWE 2024 preview special is airing on Peacock on January 4th. Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque is going to make a ‘major’ announcement and in addition to that, CM Punk, Bianca Belair, Montez Ford, current NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov and Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley are appearing on the show.
In the main event, Seth Rollins defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre. Damian Priest attempted to cash-in his Money in the Bank contract, but that plan was halted by McIntyre. Rollins went on to defeat Drew to retain the title.

- WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: Kayden Carter & Katana Chance (c) vs. Chelsea Green & Piper Niven
- Cody Rhodes vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
- CM Punk appearance
Rhea Ripley successfully defended her Women’s World Title when she bested Ivy Nile.
In the show opener, Nia Jax scored a win over Becky Lynch.
