  • On commentary: Michael Cole and Corey Graves

Kick-off Show

  • Kayla Braxton chairs a panel comprised of Wade Barrett, Booker T, Jackie Redmond, and Peter Rosenberg.
  • Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio are shown backstage. Rey tells Santos that his text to their hoped-for third teammate has been read but there has been no reply. Mysterio adds, “He will come through.”
  • Booker T and Wade Barrett engage in a “Trick-off”, taking turns to ad lib over Trick Williams’ theme.
  • Paul Heyman is asked about the “mega tandem” of John Cena and LA Knight by Byron Saxton. Heyman says Jimmy Uso and Solo shared the same womb and that they will score an easy win. When asked, “But what if they lose?” Heyman says it is a stupid question and storms off.
  • Kathy Kelley is backstage with IYO SKY, Bayley and Dakota Kai. After just one question, IYO tells Bayley she has her own strategy and does not need the rest of Damage CTRL tonight, before walking off.
  • Jade Cargill is shown arriving at the arena and is greeted by Triple H.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships: The Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest) (c) vs. Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso

As Jey Uso emerges, we see two Indianapolis 500-style racing cars with the Fastlane branding at the entranceway. Cody follows to a big reaction.

Just before the bell, Cole notes that Finn Balor and Cody Rhodes are both former leaders of the Bullet Club.

As match picked up intensity, Rhodes and Uso took control with several near-falls until Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh emerged at ringside.

McDonagh accidentally hit Priest with the Money in the Bank Briefcase, allowing the babyfaces to make short work of Finn Balor and win the titles.

Winners: Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso

The LWO (Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar & Carlito) def. Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford)

The match began as a two-on-three tag match, with the LWO missing a member after Cruz del Toro and Joaquin Wilde had been taken out by the heels on Friday’s episode of SmackDown.

The babyfaces managed to weather the storm but when all seemed lost, Carlito appeared and grabbed the pinfall win on Montez Ford.

WWE Women’s Championship: IYO SKY (c) vs. Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair

Charlotte was taken out of the match almost immediately when she was misted by Asuka.

THE MIST 🤮@WWEAsuka just took out @MsCharlotteWWE right at the start!#WWEFastlane pic.twitter.com/ROkmZgTw0y

As she was attended to at ringside, the match effectively began as a singles encounter between IYO SKY and Asuka.

Charlotte, however, soon joined the action and temporarily asserted dominance on the other two women.

In the final stretch, despite IYO’s desire to do it alone, Bayley appeared. She distracted the referee as Asuka was tapping out to Flair. SKY then hit Flair with the Over The Moonsault for the pinfall win to retain.

Winner: IYO SKY

John Cena & LA Knight vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jimmy Uso)

Before the match, Pat McAfee came to the ring for a promo and then joined the commentary desk.

The match itself was slightly overshadowed by the continual chatter among the three announcers.

This was a solid tag match, with John Cena doing a surprising amount, not least a top-rope cross-body dive on Sikoa. LA Knight had to wait a long time for the eventual hot tag from Cena.

In the final sequence, Sikoa was thrown from the ring, Cena hit the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Jey, and Knight hit the Blunt Force Trauma to pick up the win.

The camera switched to a furious Paul Heyman, who seemed to be calling Roman Reigns.

Winners: John Cena & LA Knight

The Judgment Day was shown backstage. Damian Priest seemed absolutely set on cashing in his Money in the Bank contract but Rhea Ripley said it was not the right time and took the briefcase.

Is tonight the night @ArcherOfInfamy cashes in that #MITB Contract?#WWEFastlane pic.twitter.com/7wcxnoUljJ

  • A video promoting WWE Crown Jewel 2023 was shown. It will take place on November 4th.
  • Declan McMahon, Shane’s oldest son, was shown in the crowd with an Indiana Hoosiers title belt. He is a running back for the team.

World Heavyweight Championship (Last Man Standing Match): Seth Rollins (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Not much time was wasted before the plunder was thrown into the ring by Rollins, with the loudest cheers being reserved for a couple of tables.

Before Rollins could go to town on Nakamura, Shinsuke grabbed a pair of nunchucks and attacked the back and legs of the champion.

In a back-and-forth portion of the match, still in the ring, kendo sticks, chairs, and trash cans all came into play.

In the first near win, Nakamura went through a table that was propped in the corner of the ring and took The Stomp, but was able to stand at the count of eight.

The pair then fought in and back out of the crowd.

There were some wild bumps in this main event, including Nakamura hitting flying double knees to Rollins through a table.

Rollins set up a ladder beside the announce desk. As the pair fought atop the ladder, Nakamura misted Rollins in the face. He fell through the announce desk and seemed laid out, but was able to stand at the count of nine.

Back in the crowd, Rollins delivered a Pedigree and a Stomp but it was not enough. He then delivered a Falcon Arrow on Shinsuke through a table to get the eventual win and close the show.

Winner: Seth Rollins
