In early December, POST Wrestling’s John Pollock and Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported that WWE was in the process of putting together a television series for the India market. Sources informed both reporting parties that the project was expected to tape content this month in Florida. It would air on linear television in India and through the WWE Network.

It’s noted in the report that there is a shooting date listed on WWE’s internal calendar for January 22nd titled “India Special”. There was also a photoshoot last month for WWE’s Indian talent to take updated photos.

In December, pro wrestler Badshah Khan who was trained by The Great Khali told The Kashmir Monitor that he is preparing for his WWE tryout in late March/early April.
