It was announced on the 10/5 NXT 2.0 that on 10/26, the theme of the show will be Halloween Havoc. That show will feature the NXT Championship match between Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker. On next week’s NXT, Ciampa will go one-on-one with Joe Gacy and if Gacy wins, he’ll be added to the title match at Halloween Havoc.
The North American Championship will be defended next week for the first time since June. The current champion Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott will defend the title against Santos Escobar. Scott, along with the remainder of Hit Row were drafted to Friday Night SmackDown as a part of the 2021 WWE Draft.
Headlining tonight’s NXT 2.0 was a four-way elimination match for the NXT Tag Team Championships. MSK (Nash Carter & Wes Lee) successfully retained the titles by besting Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen last. Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) and Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams were eliminated earlier in the match. As MSK were celebrating their win, they were ambushed by Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel.
Joe Gacy took on Ikemen Jiro in singles competition and got the win. As Gacy was exiting camera’s view, staring at him from the stands was Harland, also known as Parker Boudreaux.

Mei Ying suffered her first loss. She was defeated by Indi Hartwell who had some assistance from Persia Pirotta.
Cora Jade was scheduled for action but before the match got underway, Franky Monet ambushed Cora’s opponent and took the match for herself. Monet ended up losing to Jade via a rollup. Monet unsuccessfully challenged for the NXT Women’s Title on 9/28.

Tony D’Angelo was successful in his NXT TV debut by defeating Malik Blade. To open the show, Mandy Rose beat Ember Moon.
Scheduled for the 10/12 show is the return of ‘Lashing Out’ with Lash Legend. Tony D’Angelo pitched himself as a guest. Also, Kyle O’Reilly is teaming with Von Wagner to take on Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland.
