The NXT 2.0 brand’s next special is titled Spring Breakin’ and it is scheduled for May 3rd on the USA Network. In the final segment of tonight’s NXT 2.0, it was confirmed that Bron Breakker will defend the NXT Title against Joe Gacy at the event. Gacy played mind games with Breakker throughout the night and lured him up on a platform that Gacy would push Breakker off of.

In addition to Gacy versus Breakker, the North American Championship will be on the line when Cameron Grimes defends his title in a Triple-Threat involving Carmelo Hayes and Solo Sikoa. Carmelo defeated Santos Escobar in singles competition to secure his title opportunity. Solo’s opportunity at the title was interfered with last week by Trick Williams.

One of the men hit Escobar in the back of the leg with a pipe which led to Hayes scoring the win. Later in the show, Tony D’Angelo was asked if he had anything to do with the attack and he denied.
