A grudge match between Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai headlined the 11/16 NXT 2.0. The match was thrown out when Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Jacy Jayne & Gigi Dolin) interfered and attacked Gonzalez. This led to Cora Jade coming out for the save and the injured Zoey Stark bringing out her tag partner Io Shirai out to assist Jade and Gonzalez. Shirai then grabbed a microphone and yelled “WarGames”. NXT 2.0’s WarGames show is scheduled for December 5th.

Carmelo Hayes is defending the North American Title in a Triple-Threat match against Pete Dunne and Johnny Gargano on 11/23.

After scoring a win over Andre Chase, Xyon Quinn was jumped from behind by Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza. The attack was orchestrated by Elektra Lopez and it was to set up the return of Santos Escobar, who last appeared on NXT 2.0 in October when he unsuccessfully challenged Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott for the North American Title.

NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa had a segment with Bron Breakker. Ciampa referenced the ‘Steiner math’ promo while entertaining the idea of Breakker beating him for the title. Prior to Breakker coming to the ring, Ciampa called out Grayson Waller who he’ll be going one-on-one with next week.

To open the show, Tony D’Angelo scored a win over Dexter Lumis. Post-match, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams beat Lumis down, placed his hand in between a chair and Hayes jumped off the middle rope onto the chair. Johnny Gargano came to the ring shortly after that took place.
