NXT North American Champion Wes Lee had the power to choose his opponents for a five-way at Stand & Deliver. He was approached by Dragon Lee and after mutual respect was shown, Wes decided to add Dragon Lee to the field. That ultimately led to J.D. McDonagh and Ilja Dragunov coming out for their singles match.
The match did not have a decisive winner after a brawl broke out involving McDonagh, Dragunov, Wes and Dragon Lee. Wes added Dragunov and McDonagh to the Stand & Deliver five-way and it is official that next week, there will be a Battle Royal to determine the final participant in the match. Jinder Mahal, Dijak, Dabba-Katto and Axiom are among those in the 20-man Battle Royal.

With no concrete timeline on when NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez will be back in action, more names qualified for the Women’s Title Ladder match at Stand & Deliver. Tiffany Stratton bested Indi Hartwell and later in the show, Lyra Valkyria picked up a win over Ivy Nile. Stratton and Valkyria join Gigi Dolin and Zoey Stark as the current participants in the Ladder match.
Javier Bernal appeared on the show but he entered to Johnny Gargano’s music. Gargano eventually came out to the ring and took out Bernal. The former NXT Champion called out Grayson Waller who beat him down in front of his own home last week.
Gargano had a contract in his hands and it was to make his and Grayson’s match at Stand & Deliver an Unsanctioned match. Grayson stated that he’ll sign the contract on 3/28 if Gargano is not in the venue.

A vignette aired to promote Eddy Thorpe, f.k.a. Karl Fredericks. He’ll be featured on the 3/28 NXT. Thorpe has wrestled five matches under the NXT banner since signing with the company.
Prior to their NXT Women’s Tag Title defense at Stand & Deliver, Fallon Henley discovered that Kiana James is cheating on Brooks Jensen.
