The main event of the 9/27 NXT was Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) versus Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen in a ‘Pub Rules’ match. Jenson and Briggs emerged victorious but as Mark, Wolfgang and Joe Coffey were being escorted to the back, they put hands on security and a referee which led to them being ‘arrested’. The trio has been ‘suspended indefinitely’.

Wes Lee was able to qualify for the North American Championship Ladder match at Halloween Havoc. His qualifying match against Tony D’Angelo was thrown out once it was determined that D’Angelo was unable to compete. He ran into the turnbuckle and when he dropped the ground, he grabbed his knee and the official ultimately decided to stop the match.

The next challenger to Mandy Rose’s NXT Women’s Championship is Alba Fyre. Rose, alongside Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne will be taking on the trio of Alba, Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark on 10/4.

Circling back around to the North American Title front, Axiom and Nathan Frazer’s final match in their best of three series is going to be a qualifier for the Ladder match. In addition to that, Von Wagner and Andre Chase are scheduled to go one-on-one next week for a spot in that bout. Chase University held a press conference and it was mentioned to Andre that he has never beaten Von. The person who asked the question was named ‘Dave’ and Andre asked him if he thought that was a ‘five star question’.

Grayson Waller is hosting the second episode of ‘The Waller Effect’ next week and former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez are going to be his guests.

There was a singles match between Damon Kemp and Diamond Mine’s Brutus Creed that resulted in a disqualification. Kemp beat Creed down with a chair and then called Julius Creed out.

The in-ring debut of Sol Ruca took place and she scored a win over Amari Miller.

NXT Tag Team Champions Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson) are appearing on 10/4 to give a ‘State of the Commonwealth address’ about the tag team division in WWE.

With the help of The Dyad (Jagger Reid & Rip Fowler), Joe Gacy picked up a win over Cameron Grimes.

Ahead of Ilja Dragunov challenging for the NXT Championship at Halloween Havoc, he went one-on-one with Xyon Quinn and got the win.

Scheduled for next week’s program is a singles match between Wendy Choo and Lash Legend.
