Guest appearing on Nathan Frazer’s Hard-Hitting Home Truths segment was Dragon Lee. It was on that show that Frazer issued a challenge to Noam Dar for a shot at the Heritage Cup. The match was made official for 6/13.

There was a six-person tag on tonight’s program that saw The Schism (Ava, Jagger Reid & Rip Fowler) defeat Diamond Mine (Ivy Nile, Julius & Brutus Creed). Ava scored the pinfall victory for her team after she headbutted Nile while wearing her entrance mask.

Opening up the show was Baron Corbin who returned to NXT by ambushing NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes. Corbin was confronted by Ilja Dragunov, who referred to himself as the most intense person in NXT. Corbin and Ilja agreed to have a singles match on the show. Corbin was then attacked by Trick Williams. In the backstage area, Dragunov had been taken out by Bron Breakker for his comment about being the most intense person in NXT. Corbin ended up facing Williams and defeating him in singles competition. Corbin versus Ilja is scheduled for 6/13.

Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo went to visit Tony D’Angelo who is in ‘prison’. D’Angelo wants Lorenzo to find out who told and got him arrested. D’Angelo believes it was NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus.

For the first time since Worlds Collide, Blair Davenport was in action for the NXT brand. She picked up a win over Dani Palmer.

Mustafa Ali defeated Joe Gacy in singles competition and post-match, The Dyad (Jagger Reid & Rip Fowler) took out Ali. Coming out for the save were Tyler Bate and North American Champion Wes Lee. On the 6/13 NXT, Ali, Lee and Bate are facing Gacy, Reid and Fowler. Ali also has a Money in the Bank qualifying match next week on SmackDown.

With some assistance from Axiom, Scrypts picked up a win over Dabba-Kato. Dabba-Kato laid out both Scrypts and Axiom afterwards.
