While remaining on top of the cable charts, WWE Raw fell to its lowest figures of 2021 on Monday night.

Monday’s episode averaged 1,715,000 viewers and a 0.49 in the 18-49 demographic. While viewership dropped by 9 percent and the demo figure by 15.5 percent, without sports competition, Raw was still the top cable program for the evening.

The show advertised the main event between Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton over the weekend along with a face-to-face confrontation between Charlotte Flair and Lacey Evans that led to an impromptu match.

Hour one averaged 1,821,000 viewers and a 0.54 in the 18-49 demo and was its lowest opening hour since December 14th, meaning interest was not high from the start. In the second hour, the show fell to 1,735,000 viewers and 0.48 in the demo, and then, hour three fell to 1,589,000 viewers and a 0.44 in the demo. From start-to-finish, viewership dropped by 13 percent and the demo dropped by 18.5 percent.

Aside from adults over 50, every key demo was down by double digits this week and led by women 12-34 dropping 23 percent. The female 18-49 audience was especially poor with a 19.5 percent drop from last week, but even more stunning was that the female audience fell by 39 percent in the third hour, which is a staggering drop. Females 12-34 fell by 29 percent throughout the show.

The one outlier was men 12-34, who were down 16 percent this week but actually grew throughout the show by 22 percent and went against the pattern of the other key demos.
