WWE’s television momentum continued Monday with Raw posting its second-highest viewership of the year and best number since the night after WrestleMania.
The June 20th edition of the show from Nebraska averaged 1,986,000 viewers and approximately 709,000 (0.54) in the 18-49 demographic, according to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

WWE Raw topped everything on cable Monday night and did so airing against ABC’s coverage of the Stanley Cup Final between Colorado and Tampa Bay that averaged 4,103,000 viewers and 1.20 in 18-49.
Monday’s Raw increased by 17 percent in overall viewers and 26 percent in the key demo from last week’s show. There was a giant increase among females 18-49, which grew 46 percent this week with adults 18-34 increasing by 27 percent. All the key demos for Raw increased double digits from last week’s program.
The show began with an average of 2,015,000 viewers and 0.52 in the 18-49 demo. In the second hour, it grew to 2,076,000 viewers and 0.58 in the demo. The third hour dropped to 1,868,000 and 0.53. For overall viewership, it was the second-highest third hour of Raw this year.
From start to finish, viewership fell seven percent throughout the show while the 18-49 demo grew two percent. Males 18-49 grew by 12 percent throughout the show and adults 18-34 stayed even.
The show also did strong with adults 50+ with a 13.5 percent increase last week and averaging a 1.01 rating this week over the three hours and is Raw’s highest concentration of its viewers.
In Canada, the show averaged 177,900 viewers and 81,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. Those numbers were up from 145,700 and 57,900 last week. It’s an impressive figure in Canada given that Raw aired against the Stanley Cup Final in the country and was up this week. Raw was seventh in overall viewers among sports programs and fourth in the demo. The sports programs in Canada were led by the Stanley Cup playoffs, an edition of Hockey Central, and the Toronto Blue Jays vs. Chicago White Sox.
It is hard to isolate why the show did as well as it did. They only advertised Becky Lynch vs. Asuka and a concert with Elias over the past week.
The successful number comes days after Friday Night SmackDown also did a big number, which was attributable to Vince McMahon’s advertised appearance and Roman Reigns vs. Riddle for the Undisputed Universal Championship. While McMahon did appear on Raw, it was not advertised prior.
