WWE Raw ranks first on cable for fourth week in a row, draws big number in Canada

For the fourth consecutive week, WWE Raw was the top show on cable on Monday while doing a huge number in Canada.

The February 13th edition from Brooklyn averaged 1,812,000 viewers and approximately 613,000 (0.47) in the 18-49 demographic and ranked first among cable originals on Monday. (Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

Raw finished ahead of the college basketball game between Miami and North Carolina on ESPN (1,018,000 viewers and 0.31 in the demo), Below Deck on Bravo (1,093,000 and 0.30), and another game between Texas and Texas Tech (836,000 and 0.29) on ESPN.

The show saw a 3 percent decrease in viewership this week and a 15 percent reduction in the 18-49 audience.

The show was hurt with a 23 percent decline in the 18-34 demographic, which posted its lowest number of the year yielding a 0.27 rating in the demo.

The show began with 1,818,000 viewers and 0.46 in the 18-49 demographic, which included Becky Lynch and Bayley kicking off the program and setting up the night’s main event triple threat with Bianca Belair.

The second hour jumped to 1,924,000 viewers and 0.49 with the hour kicking off with an unannounced appearance by Sami Zayn, who called out Cody Rhodes. According to Wrestlenomics, it was the strongest quarter of the entire show with 2,080,000 viewers and 686,000 in the 18-49 demo.

The third hour dropped to 1,695,000 viewers and 0.45 in the demo with the main event of Bianca Belair vs. Bayley vs. Becky Lynch with a spot at Elimination Chamber at stake for Bayley and Lynch.

Throughout the three-hour broadcast, viewership fell by 7 percent and the 18-49 decline was only 2 percent. Females 18-49 grew 9 percent throughout the show and females 12-34 increased by 12.5 percent.

In Canada, the show did a huge average of 325,600 viewers with 158,300 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360, which was second among sports programs on Monday behind the NHL. Over the past year, this would be the third highest audience in Canada for an episode of Raw behind the Raw after WrestleMania 38 and the Raw is XXX special last month.
