WWE Raw was unaffected by airing against a monstrous Monday Night Football.

The November 20 episode of Raw from Grand Rapids averaged 1,459,000 viewers and 644,000 (0.49) in the 18-49 demographic, per Wrestlenomics.

The show was down 1% in viewership while rising 12% in the key demo to Raw’s largest mark in that category since September 4. What is remarkable is that Raw aired against the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles game that had a combined viewership of 28,960,000 across ESPN, ESPN 2, and ABC – the most-watched Monday Night Football game since November 1996, per Sports Media Watch.

Raw averaged 1,617,000 viewers and 682,000 in the 18-49 demo during the first hour of the show, it fell to 1,436,000 and 641,000 in the second hour and dropped to 1,324,000 and 609,000 in the final hour.

In the 18-49 demo, Raw’s male viewers grew from 406,000 to 476,000 this week while females in the demo went from 170,000 to 168,000.

Adults 18-34 grew by 11% to 239,000 with an increase among men and a drop in women.

Adults 35-49 grew by 13% to 404,000.

In Canada, the show averaged 234,900 viewers and 81,600 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360, which was down 21% and 32% respectively from last week. Raw ranked #8 among sports programs for the night, which was led by the Monday Night Football game and three NHL games.

The show was promoted around an ‘Advantage Match’ where Drew McIntyre defeated Jey Uso in the main event and the show-long tease of who the fifth member of Jey’s team would be at War Games.
