WWE Raw had another strong week following the Royal Rumble and topped two million viewers for the second week in a row.

The January 30th episode from Tulsa averaged 2,114,000 viewers and approximately 831,000 (0.64) in the 18-49 demographic and ranked first among all programming television on Monday. (Data: Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily).

The post-Rumble edition of the show held up well against last week’s giant Raw is XXX special, which was its most-watched episode since February 2020. This week’s viewership was down 10 percent from Raw is XXX while the key demo audience fell by 8.5 percent.

In the 18-49 demo, males fell by 6 percent while females declined by 15 percent from last week’s show.

The 18-34 demographic declined by 9.5 percent while adults 35-49 saw an 8 percent decrease.

Raw opened with 2,219,000 viewers and 0.66 in the 18-49 demographic including an appearance by Cody Rhodes kicking off the show and confirming he would challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. The second hour averaged 2,168,000 viewers and 0.65 in the demo with the third hour at 1,955,000 viewers and 0.60 in the demo with the main event between Rhodes and Finn Balor.

From the first to the final hour, the audience dropped by 12 percent and the 18-49 audience fell by 9 percent.  

Raw dominated cable on Monday by doubling the next highest program, Below Deck, in the 18-49 demo at 0.31. Raw also topped two college basketball games on ESPN with Baylor vs. Texas (895,000 viewers and 0.26 in the demo), and Virginia vs. Syracuse (1,007,000 and 0.25).

Next week’s show takes place in Orlando with a steel cage match between Becky Lynch and Bayley and additional qualifying matches for the two Elimination Chamber matches.
