Coming off a historically low viewership last week following the 4th of July weekend, WWE Raw rebounded for its final episode from the ThunderDome.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports that the show averaged 1,609,000 viewers with 560,000 in the 18-49 demographic that works out to a 0.43 rating in the demo.

Those would represent increases of 9.3 percent in viewers and 4.5 percent in the 18-49 demo from last week.

Prior to this week’s episode, Raw had averaged 1,626,000 viewers and 585,000 in 18-48 over the previous four weeks from June 14th through July 5th.

Raw’s major competition on Monday came from ESPN’s coverage of the Home Run Derby.

In Canada, Raw averaged 188,600 viewers and 109,200 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. It was the second most-watched sports broadcast of the night in the country behind the Home Run Derby. It was also Raw’s best viewership figure since June 21st.

Last week’s episode of Raw in Canada averaged 151,000 viewers and 79,300 in the 25-54 demo going against the Stanley Cup Finals involving Tampa Bay and Montreal.

Next week’s episode of Raw will take place in front of live fans from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas following the Money in the Bank show.
