WWE releases

So with the rumor that the Mike and Maria Kanellis, the Revival, and Dolph Ziggler possibly on their way out of the WWE, who do you see trying to get released in the near future? I think with AEW getting started, this will be just the beginning of people wanting out of the WWE

Right now i feel like they might wait and see how this whole AEW thing pan out before anybody try to get their release because let’s face it, they might have ask to get release, doesn’t mean that WWE will give them their release especially now.

I don’t really know who would really want to leave WWE right now, i could see Aiden English as a possible one as he doesn’T really have anything right now and i think he’s in a position to take a risk. Gallows and Anderson depending on the type of money AEW is offering them. Lars sullivan maybe if they decided to just let him go after his recent health problem. Mojo rawley could be one especially since they pretty much stop using him and the last one i could see leaving and that’S if his health permit him to perform, that’s matt hardy, out of the whole group i just named, this would be a big get for AEW because matt is such a creative guy and would help tremendously backstage.

That’s pretty much who i could see asking for release from WWE. Most of them like The kanellis and the revival won’t make a big different if they leave and will probably get the same pay with AEW as what they get paid now with WWE but a matt hardy would be something big for them. As far as Ziggler, i kinda feel like he’s letting his contract run out and will slowly retire as he talk about doing other stuff and not focus stop focusing all his time on wrestling for years now.

According to Meltzer (a phrase I never like saying). Almas was not too happy a few weeks ago and he got pushed for expressing his frustration.

Gallows and Anderson have deals coming up. Styles is in the fall of 2019.

Ziggler makes huge money, I believe is tied to Barry Bloom, and I can see him taking a flier on AEW. Let’s face it. Ziggler has absolutely nothing to lose by signing a deal that sees him work a few shows and if the promotion doesn’t have a hot start, he doesn’t need the money.

Even if AEW wasn’t around, WWE needs to future endeavor some people. We haven’t gotten a real good Future Endeavor Friday in what feels like ages. And with all the crop in NXT, it’s necessary now more than ever. (Khan probably saw this coming…doesn’t feel like he is playing checkers)

Anyone granted a release will have a clause stating that they can’t sign with AEW, ROH…etc for a period of time.

WWE aren’t stupid when it comes to things like that

WWE’s roster right now is more bloated than Warlord circa 1991. It’s gotten to the point where it seems like they are just shelving guys just so other companies can’t have them.

There should be a Tag team show like 205 Live with all the Tag teams that exist that can’t get on programming

I think they need more brands. There should be a 2 hours WWE show on TV seven nights a week, all different brands, and just keep everyone forever.

I feel AJ is a WWE lifer at this point, he mentioned that he wanted to retire from wrestling around his 43rd birthday or around that age i’m not sure so i think he pretty much happy so finishing his career in WWE. Gallows and anderson, i depend, it they are happy just cashing a check and not have to be on tv every week, then i see them resigning as it’s pretty good money for a lot less work then they would have to do on in AWE or anywhere else and at their age and the fact that they have family, they have to take that into consideration as well.

Also i’m with you on the whole WWE needs to fired some wrestlers as the roster is way to bloated right now. But the thing is that ever since HHH took over the talent relation department, the mentality of ‘‘We have to sign as much wrestlers as possible and keep them under contract for as long as possible’’ became the motto of the company. When Vince was more involve in that part of the company, if you didn’t want to work for WWE, he would just give you your release and go be happy somewhere else. But now that HHH as more power, it’S all about trying to create they’re own competition and keep as much of the talent from going to other promotions that could hurt that project.

So the time of the spring cleaning is over, they rather keep talents under contract and pay them until their contract is up then to grant them their release. That’s because for most talent that aren’t happy, the time on their contract is longer then the 90 days clause, so if they decided to just sit at home and get paid the remainder of their contract, they became less valuable when they get sign by another promotion. The old motto is ‘‘out of sight, out of mind’’ and this prove true for wrestling fans as well especially WWE fans, If a talents isn’T wrestling anywhere for let’S say 10 months, then show up in AEW, outside of those living in the wrestling bubble we live in, Nobody will care when he show up so they won’t be getting the WWE fans that use to love this act because fans just moved on to someone else.
